Client Billing and Reporting
- flexible, parameter driven billing system with each client having a range of chargeable tasks
- each task can have a number of differing charge methods eg volume, units, etc.
- charge rates can be established by product, contract (as for a range of products) and client
- storage is charged monthly or weekly
- invoices are produced weekly or monthly
- invoices can be summary or detailed
- accruals are available for monthly processing
- flexible, parameter driven warehouse layout
- configurable warehouse operations to provide for diverse requirements
- transactions for receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, despatch, stock movements and stocktakes
- configurable business rules for inventory allocation, work path management and workload assignment
- paper based or RF paperless operations
- a comprehensive Warehouse Activity monitor provides visibility and control of all transactions in the warehouse
- import facilities (including EDI) from Translogix or client Order Processing and Purchasing systems
Transport Operations
- caters for internal fleet or contract carriers
- transport costing and billing for deliveries and pick-ups allows for contract rates, discounts, quantity breaks and the like
- prints shipping labels and consignment documentation
- produces printed or electronic manifests in run and drop sequence
- interfaces to route planning and scheduling software
- calculates contract driver payments or carrier costs
Carrier Interfaces
- Uploads carrier rates and postcode/zone information
- Sends electronic manifests
- Uploads carrier invoices for automated matching
Proof of delivery (PDA based)
- Downloads electronic manifest to handheld PDA device
- Ability to record delivery details, eg cartons dropped, cash collected, signature capture, date and time stamped
- POD information returned immediately to host via GPRS network
- POD information and signatures available to the client via web enquiries
Proof of delivery (paper based)
- Consignment notes are signed and faxed in
- Auto scanning of documents into online repository using OCR scanning technology
- Document images available online via web enquiries
Reporting and Analysis
- Exception reporting on incorrect carrier invoice charges
- cost history and 'what-if' simulations
- comprehensive history of transport activity by zone, carrier, vehicle type and individual truck
