PRESS RELEASE - 27 February 2007Inspired Logistics chooses the ADVANTA Remedy to Serve the Pharmaceutical IndustryTranslogix International, specialist software solutions provider to the 3PL and Logistics markets, announced that Inspired Logistics has selected Translogix International’s ADVANTA contract warehousing solution to help cater for Inspired Logistics’ rapid business growth. Inspired Logistics, is a recently formed logistics service and fulfilment unit within The Riders Group of companies focused on the movement of point of sale material and related products to the pharmaceutical, medical device and healthcare industries. As its name implies Inspired aims to provide a superior service using a creative fresh approach to build unique solutions to meet their clients’ varied needs. As Paul Bunting – Logistics Manager at Inspired Logistics explains. “Inspired Logistics has attracted key logistics personnel who have developed innovative business procedures and reporting techniques which meet the special requirements of the pharmaceutical, medical device and healthcare industries” The modularity of Translogix’s ADVANTA suite was a key ingredient in the decision to select Translogix. Translogix’s ADVANTA suite comprises over 30 modules covering every aspect of supply chain management and supply chain execution and is ideally suited for 3PL organisations. Bunting states, “We were able to select the ADVANTA modules required for our business today, and have the option to add modules as our business grows. This way we are not locked out of future options”. Another factor in Inspired Logistics’ decision was Translogix’s implementation methodology. Translogix’s “Fail Safe Implementation” process provided Inspired Logistics with confidence that the system would be commissioned and configured with a minimum disruption. “Translogix International provides detailed test pack and trial operating scenarios to ensure that all aspects of software solution are tested and trialled prior to ‘going live’ to meet the needs of Inspired Logistics day to day, week to week and month to month expectations” observed Bunting. Inspired will initially implement modules from the Supply Chain Management and Supply Chain Execution suites including ; 3PL client billing, warehouse management, paperless warehousing, scan packing, EDI, order processing, purchasing, focus forecasting, report generating, track and trace and electronic forms printing. With ADVANTA Inspired Logistics expect to provide their clients with a best practice solution incorporating unique software abilities, previously unseen in their target market industries.
