PRESS RELEASE

Advanta Software establishes eCommerce Division

In response to the needs of our clients and the general demand in the marketplace, we are pleased to announce the formation of a specialist eCommerce Division. Our eCommerce Division will focus on providing eCommerce related services both to our existing clients in our Warehousing & Logistics and CRM Divisions and also to new clients.

While eCommerce is widely used to refer to only ‘Selling over the Web’, we prefer to take a broader perspective and view eCommerce as encompassing any use of the electronic channel for business communications.

The eCommerce Division has enlisted the services of Advanta staff already experienced with eCommerce solutions covering eFulfillment, Web based order entry, EDI and electronic document distribution solutions.

The new Division will focus on these areas but will also be driven by client demand.

Advanta has distribution rights for a number of third party products that facilitate the development of B2B electronic communications, and additional products may be added in the future.

Current products cover the following applications;

  • Web based reporting and analysis (Panorama for Web from StayinFront Inc)
  • Web based forms and transactions and full web enabled CRM (Webworks from StayinFront Inc.)
  • Document formatting and distribution solutions (Paris from XLPrint, Advanta’s own eXpedite automated email agent, and Faxgate from Esker)

Over the next decade eCommerce is set to transform the way business operates. It will yield substantial benefits to organisations that can drive down their costs and keep closer to their clients. We want to help our clients achieve these benefits.
