Translogix International and XLPrint Form Business Alliance

Translogix International and XLPrint today announced a business alliance, which will see Translogix becoming a dealer for XLPrint's Paris output management products. At the same time XLPrint is incorporating some of Translogix's email technology in XLPrint's output software, Paris version 3.

XLPrint's Paris is a leading output management solution with over 2000 users worldwide.

Paris provides;

• Revamping of reports providing extensive layout changes, inclusion of images, bar-codes and background special stationery type formats
• Conditional processing based on contents of the report e.g. division, or postcode
• Re-direction of reports to selected printers.

Translogix and XLPrint have collaborated on the development of two Version 3 optional add-ons, Paris eXpedite and Paris Archiver.

Paris eXpedite provides;

• Automated electronic document delivery by either fax or email
• Documents can be converted to PDF format for security
• Document delivery rules specify how each document is delivered.

Paris Archiver provides:

• The automatic creation of an archive database of documents printed via XLPrint’s Paris
• Archives can be accessed by user defined keys via a browser interface across the internet using a wide range of selection criteria
• Access can be restricted to authorised users only.

At the same time with our reseller agreement, we will incorporate Paris into our logistics and eCommerce solutions."

Tony Poynton, Managing Director of XLPrint added "The incorporation of Translogix's mail and fax technology has allowed us to quickly bring significant product enhancements to our client base and to increase the functionality of our products. This technology has already been well received by beta users of Paris eXpedite. Release to the market is expected in July."
