Advanta Enhances 3rd Party Logistics Suite With CRM

Advanta Software, IT solutions specialist to the 3PL (3rd Party Logistics) market has announced the release of Pursuit™, a comprehensive Contact Relationship Manager to enhance Advanta’s BILS product suite.

Pursuit is a Windows .NET application developed to integrate with and enhance Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Exchange. Outlook users are immediately familiar with the look and feel and can start using Pursuit without any training. Pursuit builds on MS Outlook’s facilities to manage all activities related to interactions with contacts. Activities include sending and receiving emails, managing projects and tasks, creating MS Office documents, managing personal and team calendars, and coordinating meetings and appointments. Pursuit then extends the ease and functionality of Outlook to provide unique facilities to build better relationships with business contacts.

These enhancements cover a number of areas but significantly Pursuit provides;

• Corporate Information Organisation (CIO) – whereby Pursuit builds a natural and intuitive corporate information structure including a Company/Contact hierarchy allowing any activity data to be accessed either by company or by contact.
• Email management which automatically files all incoming and outgoing emails in the Contact’s company directory.
• Opportunity Management, which allows sales personnel to record and track sales opportunities and provides sales management with a direct view of their reps' activities.
• Pursuit enables its users to benefit from a simplified interface with the facility to record contact, company, calls, appointments, tasks, follow-ups , activity history and documents, to store and view all information on a company within a tree-structure
• Pursuit provides interfaces to other Advanta BILS modules, and integrates with Outlook Web clients and synchronises with Personal Data Assistants.
