PRESS RELEASE - 2 June 2004EMpower gains new client, BHB PrintingTranslogix International, specialist software solutions provider to the 3PL and general Logistics markets, announced that BHB printing has selected EMpowerTM as its eCommerce solution. The sale has been made by e-SCAPE, Translogix’s distributor for the EMpower print industry solution. BHB Printing Pty Ltd is a long established commercial print company specialising in the general print and business forms market. They have established an enviable reputation for quality and reliability over 57 years in the Australian print market. They offer a broad range of services to a diverse client base from the largest of multinationals down to small companies and local manufacturers. Craig Howlett, BHB’s General Manager said that EMpower “delivers what our clients need, a full print order cycle, from the initial quote, order placement and concluding at delivery.” Through the use of EMpower, BHB will be able to respond to their customer requests quickly allowing their customers to grow and all this at a fair cost. Because EMpower is hosted it eliminates the need for clients to invest in capital equipment, software or specialist skills to set up and maintain the service. Moreover, it can be interfaced with warehouses in all states. BHB printing selected e-SCAPE and Translogix as their suppliers, because of “the level of trust that we had built up and due to their proven track record in B2B ordering and their expertise in logistics” said Craig.
EMpower is an eCommerce web portal designed for the print industry. EMpower provides all the functionality required for a print company to start eCommerce operations. This includes an internet ‘shop-front’, which allows registration of new customers, processing of requests for quotation and the entry of orders. Processing is kept simple by providing sample document layouts and specification templates EMpower is hosted by Translogix, providing fast implementation, minimal administrative overhead and low entry costs.
