Advanta Releases A3™

Anytime-Anywhere-Access enhances leading logistics solution

Advanta Software, specialist IT solutions provider to the Logistics and Third Party Logistics (3PL) markets has announced the release of A3™, a suite of internet applications which provide A(nytime)-A(nywhere)-A(ccess) to an organizations published information. A3 can dramatically improve visibility, eliminate administration overheads, streamline business partner activity and promote self-service.

A3 is built to integrate with Microsoft’s Sharepoint Team Services and Sharepoint Portal Server applications. A3 comprises a set of internet web-site templates and a set of custom-built web-parts. The web-site templates include an extranet, for clients wishing to build their first or replace their current web-site, a corporate intranet and a Client Access portal. Each of these provide an excellent advanced starting point on which a business can build their unique business profile. One of the key benefits of A3 is its comprehensive yet simple content management facilities. Non-technical users can easily configure the templates using simple drag-and-drop, fill-in–the–form facilities.

Advanta custom web-parts include components which facilitate;

• direct Web-ordering
• internet access to document archives including PODs and Billling information
• web based enquiries to back-end databases
• direct Freight management and POD tracking applications
• real-time access via Advanta’s intelligent browser to Advanta’s Supply Chain Management and Supply Chain Execution applications
