PRESS RELEASE - 17 February 2005
Advanta Advances into 2005
Specialist 3PL solution provider Advanta Software held its six month review at their Macquarie Park (Sydney) Head office. Reflecting on the past year, Managing Director, Robert Kery reported “2004 was a pivotal year for our company. Indeed it capped off a period of change unequalled in our 30 year history."
Following divestment of the CRM division in 2003, Advanta re-focussed on its Logistics Division and transformed itself into a dynamic single market organisation with new branding, under the Advanta name, new premises and a whole swag of new products.
These changes have been well received by Advanta’s client base and the 3PL marketplace in general, with Advanta closing half a dozen new name deals in 2004 and a further three in 2005.
“Winning new name deals is always pleasing – because you know that your products are preferred by the marketplace” commented Robert, “but what is equally important for us is that during the year our major clients have enjoyed great growth – indeed our 3PL clients have also been winning in their very competitive marketplace. This is testimony to our ability to deliver value to our client organisations.”
“We absorbed a lot of changes, won new business, developed new products and managed to deliver a satisfactory bottom line. Our results last financial year were excellent with both sales and profits exceeding our budgets”.
Looking forward to 2005 and beyond, Robert indicated, “We have some exciting developments over the coming year. We will be unveiling a new product suite, the ATLAS release, sometime in the middle of the year. This is the culmination of several years development and we believe will raise the bar on integrated logistics for the 3PL marketplace. We are also planning to extend our re-seller channels by appointing some international reseller partners”
