Translogix International delivers ADVANTA to National Mailing & Marketing

Translogix International, specialist software solutions provider to the 3PL and Logistics markets, announced that National Mailing & Marketing (NMM) has selected Translogix's ADVANTA 3PL logistics suite to help meet their growth requirements.

NMM is a Canberra based provider of warehouse, mail fulfilment and distribution services. NMM specialise in marketing management incorporating a fully integrated distribution service including Fulfilment, Pick & Pack, Computer Services, Warehouse Management and Inventory, Telemarketing, E-Commerce, Design, Print & Packaging and Distribution.

Translogix is providing NMM several modules from their ADVANTA Supply Chain Execution and eLogistics suites. The initial modules cover Freight & Transport Management, Client Billing and Warehouse Management, but beyond these the ADVANTA suite will provide the firepower for NMM to introduce a wider variety of value added services in the future.

The introduction of the ADVANTA suite will replace a number of non-integrated systems including Access databases and Excel spreadsheets. NMM Finance Officer and Project Manager Damian Toms explained that the Translogix system "will fully integrate our current processes, gaining efficiencies" in maintaining warehouse stock levels and processing orders.

Asked why NMM selected Translogix's solution, Mr Toms cited the main reasons as being the comprehensive functionality provided by the ADVANTA suite, Translogix's exceptional trade references and ability to fit NMM's requirements. "The Translogix system came highly recommended and was a perfect fit to move our company forward" he noted.

With the ADVANTA solution in place, NMM expect increased revenue capture due to an integrated system of recording of billing information together with improved processing efficiencies and accuracy. This will allow NMM to offer their existing clients a greater suite of services, whilst also assisting their expansion into new business areas.
