PRESS RELEASE - 1 August 2006BRN Benchmark Upgrades to ATLASAdvanta Software, specialist IT solutions provider to the Logistics and 3PL markets, announced that long time client BRN Benchmark (BRN) have upgraded to ATLAS, Advanta’s next generation logistics suite, as well as to ATLAS eZorder 2, its latest B2B internet order management solution.
BRN Benchmark is a unique logistics service provider specialising in print management. They offer a range of services from marketing, through to the production and delivery of finished printed product, delivered to the user on time and on budget. They aim to become an integral part of their Client’s business delivering value, improving performance and reducing costs. A key ingredient is technology not only to reduce costs and increase efficiencies, but more so to enable them to deliver value to their clients through improved customer relations and through an enhanced range of services. BRN implemented Advanta’s 3PL logistics suite in 2003 and has over the years benefited through the streamlining of processes and the enabling of improved customer service through web ordering, amongst other things. "The decision to upgrade to ATLAS was simple," explained BRN Director Rob Harrison, "BRN prides itself on using the latest technology and the ATLAS suite represents significant enhancement over Advanta's earlier product." Harrison believes the development of ATLAS components in Microsoft's .Net framework provides benefits to both BRN's staff and their customers. "The ATLAS product has a new graphical look and feel, and is much easier to learn, use and customise" he noted. The upgrade to ATLAS eZorder v2 has a similarly improved look and feel, and ease of use. In addition it provides easier product identification through its on-line catalogue, which includes images and specification information, and it also, provides complete visibility for tracking the order, as it moves through the various stages from receipt to delivery.
