29th of May 2008 – Advanta Software wins 2008 iAwards – e-Logistics category   
Advanta Software and Markitforce were awarded the 2008 National iAward in the e-Logistics application category last night at the Melbourne Crown Casino. The iAward acknowledges the delivery of an innovative and efficient supply chain solution with the backend support of the ATLAS software suite.

Advanta Software and Markitforce have now advanced to the Asia Pacific ICT Awards, APICTA with judging to be held in Indonesia in late 2008.

23rd of April 2008 – The 2008 iAWARDS – NSW State iAward Winner e-Logistics Category   
We are proud to announce that Advanta Software, together with our client Markitforce, have won the inaugural e-Logistics iAward for NSW hosted by the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA). As the state winners for NSW, together Advanta Software and Markitforce will be competing for the National iAward in the e-Logistics category. Winners will be announced on the 28th of May. 24th April 2008 – Advanta welcomes John Whitty   
Welcome to John Whitty who recently joined Advanta’s Sydney head office as marketing and administration coordinator.
John brings to Advanta several decades of sales and marketing experience in the IT industry promoting ERP and CRM software. During this time John held an account management position at Berger Software, so he is familiar with our operating procedures, our market and our long term clients.
John’s role at Advanta is to assist with the growth of our client base and to free up operational resources for client projects.

17th April 2008 – Gekko Petroleum chooses ATLAS Fuel   
Gekko Petroleum is a supplier and distributor of oil products, petrochemicals and bio-fuel products to the Australian and South Pacific international market. Gekko Petroleum offers oil products via a number of terminal gates across Australia and through its parent company, Masefield, Gekko Petroleum can also offer specialised international energy trading services to their clients.

Gekko Petroleum has selected Advanta’s ATLAS Fuel distribution software suite as their software solution.

8th April 2008 - Lowes Petroleum upgrades to the latest ATLAS Fuel software suite   
For over 30 years, Lowes Petroleum has distributed fuel and petroleum products to the wide Australian market through their wholesale and retail channel. Servicing over 9000 private and commercial clients, Lowes Petroleum is a leading distributor of Mobil fuel and lubricant products in Australia. Lowes Petroleum is upgrading their fuel distribution solution to the latest release of Advanta’s Fuel Distributors package - ATLAS Fuel 5.2.

31st January 2008 – Concord Park (Concept Logistics) upgrades to ATLAS and ATLAS eZorder   
Concord Park (Concept Logistics) provides transport and logistics services for customers throughout Australia. With depots in each capital state, Concord Park provides total supply chain management solutions for their customers.

Concord Park is upgrading to the Advanta’s ATLAS 3PL software suite to manage growing warehousing requirements. In addition, Concord Park has recently implemented ATLAS eZorder, an e-logistics internet order management module.

Markitforce, a national 3PL service provider for merchandising, point of sale (POS) and promotional material products has selected Advanta’s contract warehousing solution – ATLAS 3PL to manage Markitforce’s growing warehousing requirements.

22nd of August 2007– Queensland IT Group and Advanta Software partner to release Atlas eZfill   
Advanta Software partners with QLD IT Group, a Queensland based mobile solutions provider to resell QLD IT’s Fuel Companion solution product. This state of the art on truck fuel solution allows fuel delivery drivers to perform their tasks from a single program and provide updates back to the office in real time. Re branded as Atlas eZfill, this fuel solution module has been integrated into Advanta’s Atlas Fuel Distribution software suite.

13th of August – Tasco Inland Australia upgrades to Advanta’s Atlas Fuel Distribution suite   
Tasco Inland Australia, the largest distributor of Mobil fuel and lubricant products in Australia, has recently upgraded their Berger Fuel Distributor’s solution system to the latest version of Advanta’s ATLAS fuel distributor’s solution package.

7th of August – Pool Systems upgrades to Advanta’s latest release of Atlas   
Pool Systems Pty Ltd, Australia’s leading manufacturer and distributor of swimming pool and spa equipment, accessories and leisure products has upgraded to version 5.2 of Advanta’s ATLAS software solution suite.

31st of July –Advanta Software partners with Yellowfin International to release Atlas BI   
Advanta Software partners with local business intelligence solutions specialist, Yellowfin International to release the next generation in web reporting and analysis software for the 3PL and logistics market. Based on Yellowfin technology, Atlas BI is a highly functional business intelligence product which is easy to use and has been seamlessly integrated into the Atlas product suite.

16th July – Advanta Software welcomes Stefan Dique

3rd April – Tyco Electronics goes “live” with Advanta’s software solutions:   
Tyco Electronics design, manufacture, produces and supply active and passive components for the electronics industry around the world. Tyco Electronics employ over 250,000 employees and are the largest suppliers of passive components in the world. Tyco Electronics have gone live with Advanta’s ATLAS logistics application suite.

4th March – Advanta welcomes Darren Levien   
Welcome to Darren Levien who has recently joined Advanta Sydney office as a trainee manager. Darren has attained a bachelor’s degree in business, majoring in management at The University of Technology Sydney and has gained various employment experiences in administration, retail sales and service. At Advanta, Darren will manage a number of core administrative duties and undertake a two year programme to learn all the operations of Advanta Software.

20th January – Scott’s Agencies selects Advanta’s Fuel Distribution Software   
Scott’s Agencies Pty Ltd, an independent fuel and lubricants wholesaler and distributor operating from the south east of South Australia services local and national fuel accounts through a large network of service stations, regional fuel depots and a large tanker transport fleet. Scott’s Agencies Pty Ltd have selected Advanta’s ATLAS Fuel distribution software suite as their software solutions provider.

15th December 2006 - Inspired Logistics utilises Advanta’s Software Solutions:   
Inspired logistics, a specialist 3PL operator, providing services for warehousing and distribution of a range of promotional and point of sale products. Inspired Logistics predominately operate in and target the pharmaceutical industry. Having recently opened a new warehouse in the North Ryde area, they are already considering further expansion. Inspired Logistics has chosen Advanta’s ATLAS – 3PL Logistics Application Suite and eZtrace software to provide a total warehousing solution.

4th December 2006 – Advanta welcomes Tom Chan   
Welcome to Tom Chan who has joined our Sydney Office as a Marketing Coordinator. As a recent University graduate, Tom has completed a bachelor’s degree in Business, majoring in Marketing in 2005 and has attained marketing experience in the brown goods and white goods retail sector. 27th November 2006 – Advanta welcomes Michael Lim   
Welcome to Michael Lim who has joined the Sydney R&D team as our new Technical Project Leader. Michael has attained experience in an industrial supplies distribution business in a lead developer position. Michael is also competent and experienced in the design and development of web solutions. At Advanta, Michael will contribute through the continual development of Advanta Software’s current products, and through the management of Advanta Software’s infrastructure system.

23rd November 2006 – MTM Transport chooses Advanta Software   
MTM Transport is a specialist transport, logistics solutions provider with over 75 years of experience. MTM provide an added value consulting service to enable clients to operate more efficient and effective warehouse management and distribution centre's. MTM has selected Advanta Software's contract warehousing software solution, the ATLAS logistics application suite.

6th September - Advanta welcomes Rob Cockerill   
Welcome to Rob Cockerill who has joined our Sydney office as an account manager. With a business and accounting background, Rob has over 25 years experience in some of the largest organisations in the IT industry. In addition to this Rob has attained a wealth of knowledge and experience in professional selling of ERP systems including supply chain management systems. 21st August 2006 - Advanta Welcomes Ross McKinlay to the team   
Welcome to Ross McKinlay who has joined our Melbourne office as a Project Manager. Ross has 20 years hands-on experience in warehouse and supply chain management, including several roles as Operations Manager for some of Australia's leading organisations. His experience covers a range of industries including print management and retail. He will bring his expertise to our Melbourne client base both as a project manager and as a general consultant helping our clients optimise their use of the Advanta product suite.

21st August 2006 - Advanta welcomes Graeme Anderson   
Welcome to Graeme Anderson who has joined our Melbourne office as a Project Manager. Graeme has an extensive career in the development and support of logistics applications. 10th January 2006 - Austar Seafood Marketing selects Advanta   
Austar Seafood Marketing has several importing and marketing operations around Australia including a couple of large Blast freezers interstate and cold storage in Sydney. Austar chose Advanta's contract warehousing solution to manage its frozen seafood warehouse in Sydney, with the intention of implementing it into their other warehouses throughout Australia. October 2005. Logical Freight Solutions chooses Advanta.   
Logical Freight Solutions (LFS) has chosen Advanta for its warehousing solution. LFS offer global solutions to any shipping requirements with extensive expertise in moving high value, time sensitive, hazardous, and temperatures controlled material. 25th September, 2005 - Advanta Releases ATLAS   
ATLAS (Advanta Total Logistics Application Suite) is the next generation of Advanta’s logistics software. ATLAS is the culmination of work over 18 months and represents the integration of a number of R&D projects. ATLAS replaces the BILS product suite marketed by Advanta for the past decade.

20th September 2005 - Bell Total Logistics selects Advanta   
Bell Total Logistics Pty Ltd (BTL) offer a complete range of forwarding, customs, warehousing and 3rd party logistics solutions. Handling customs matters, storage, warehousing, distribution and import / export requirements for a large range of customers. Advanta won the competitive bid for BTL's Supply Chain Execution and will provide the solution to all their warehouses.

1st July 2005 - Advanta acquires Pacific Software's Logistics Division   
Pacific has operated as a dealer for Advanta’s logistics application packages for the past 15 years. Over this period it has built and supported a client base spanning all states of Australia and some coverage of the Asia Pacific. While the underlying software for all clients is the Advanta suite, Pacific has also built a Fuel Distributors system to supplement and integrate with the Advanta packages. The Fuel Distributors software is one of the leading Australian products in this market niche.

Under the acquisition Advanta has taken on all Pacific’s logistics staff, the Fuel Distributors package and the support of all Pacific’s logistics clients. Advanta will establish a new office in Brisbane to continue direct support of the local client base.

11th January 2005 - Congratulations to Kagan Bros for their New Brisbane Warehouse   
Congratulations to Kagan Bros for the opening of their new showcase Brisbane warehouse of over 8000 sq metres. This brings total Kagan capacity around Australia to around 90,000 sq m.

14th December 2004 - Advanta Congratulates Tracey Azzopardi Young Achiever of the Year 2004   
Tracey Azzopardi, Divisional Manager Operations of Synthes Australia has been awarded Young Achiever of the Year Award 2004, the Mike Munns Trophy. The award is granted by the LAA for achievements that are both significant and beyond what is normally expected from a person who 30 years old or younger. 2nd December 2004 - Advanta releases A3   
Advanta launches A3 - A3 is an internet portal providing Anytime, Anywhere, Access for employees, business partners and visitors to a corporate web-site. A3 has been built using Microsoft's Sharepoint Team Services and comprises a set of templates and generic and custom web-parts. A3 provides a generic web-site out of the box and simplifies content management.

25th November 2004 - Melbourne holds Product Showcase 'Online 2004'   
Advanta product showcase Online 2004 was held in Melbourne on 25th November. The content was similar to that of the Sydney event, and again well received by the attendees.

23rd November 2004 - Sydney holds Product Showcase 'Online 2004'   
Advanta held its inaugural product showcase Online 2004 in their Sydney premises. The sessions were very well received by attendees who saw a range of presentations focused on Advanta's eLogistics product suite. The highlight of the afternoon was the launch of A3, Advanta's internet portal (see separate newsclip for further information). The afternoon was informative, entertaining and valuable to all who attended.

8th September 2004 - Advanta hosts 14 Sinopec employees   
On 8th September, Advanta Software hosted 14 Sinopec employees on their International Logistics study Group. Sinopec Corp. a vertically integrated energy and chemical company visited Australia to learn about Australian Logistics software. They selected Advanta to demonstrate their software solutions because they had been awarded the “Best Australian Warehouse Management Solution – 2004” from the Global Institute of Logistics.

10th August 2004 - Advanta / ITW 22 year Partnership
