Application Development

We provide both Time and Material and Fixed Quote services covering every aspect of software development, implementation and on going support. This includes; -

  • Application development, covering project management, business analysis, programming, preparation of test packs, system testing, user training and system integration.
  • Pilot and live application roll-out support.
  • On going software maintenance and development.
  • Telephone support and software upgrades.

Client Support Services

We also provide a range of client support services, offering our industry expertise to help your IT systems become more effective. Client support services are structured in accord with client needs. We start with a service level agreement (SLA), which identifies the range of services we will provide and agreed standards for performance. The SLA is reviewed on a regular basis.

Our Client Support services include;

  • Customised training - development and presentation of training courses.
  • System administration services - we undertake to carry out all regular system administration tasks and also review the effective utilisation of your systems.
  • Data quality management - we provide quarterly data quality reports which rate the quality of the data and suggest remedies where quality standards are not being met.
  • Help Centre - provides first line support to your end users. Dedicated consultants who have been fully trained in your application are available to handle calls, either by phone or email.

Our Quality Standards

The FSIC - FailSafe Implementation Cycle

Successful computer systems depend on effective system implementation techniques. However, success is not achieved easily or effortlessly. Computers are not "ready to use" machines and system implementation often takes more time and effort than anticipated. The Fail-Safe Implementation Cycle (FSIC) will ensure a quality implementation.

The core of the FSIC is a detailed checklist comprising all the steps that must be covered in any software implementation project. It contains two vital check points;

  • The Client, with our assistance, decides how the software will be used by fully "mapping" all the business processes into the software. The Client then "signs off" the Functional Specifications plus any approved modifications.
  • The Client carries out detailed User Acceptance Testing and Training and "signs off" the software prior to its installation and final roll-out.
